Western Riding Club Royalty

ROYALTY CONTEST

We welcome your interest in the Western Riding Club Royalty Contest. Royalty activities promote strong values and club spirit. The experiences that these girls encounter will form lasting impressions that will guide them to success in later life.

Please read all of the following information and complete the attached forms carefully. Your entry packet may be returned to the individual listed below. The deadline for entry is: March 15, 2009.  You and/or your family must be or become an active member of Western Riding Club by March 2009 in order to participate in the royalty contest.

Contest Dates are March 27^th and 28^th.

The contest will be held in two days:

Day (1)    Introduction and Speech will be in the evening at the clubhouse.    Please be there by 5:15 PM  (You may wear a western dress or slacks) Judging will start at 6:00. 

      Hats are part of your outfit.

Day (2)  Tack and appearance, a horsemanship pattern, presentation ride with a flag and interview will be at Jack Williams' arena at Lake Hazel and Eagle on Satuary March 28, 2008

      9:00 AM plan to be there warmed up and ready at the gate by 8:45 A.M. 

(Required outfit for this part: Western attire:  Hat, Jeans, Shirt, boots & belt for this part of the contest-You may wear sparkling outfits or plain )                  

          Immediately following tack and appearance and horsemanship approx. @ 12:00 p.m.  We will load up and go to the clubhouse for a fun activity.  Bring all your stuff to change into.  Bring an afternoon snack.  Your parents may drop you off there or we will have vehicles to transport everyone there. Parents please plan to return to the Club House for the 7:00 P.M. start of the evening celebration and coronation.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

     We firmly believe that all of the girls who compete in this contest will benefit from the experience. While only two girls are crowned, all of the girls who compete in this contest are WINNERS.    If you are not crowned, we hope that you will have had so much fun during the contest that you will be motivated to return next year and try again. GOOD LUCK to all of you and thank you for your support.
