Bruneau Dunes Ride

Date:  March 1st, 2009

Time:  Ready to ride @ 11:00 am

Location:  Equestrian area at Bruneau Dunes State Park located 18 miles southwest of Mountain Home.   From Mountain Home take Air Force Base Road South to Hwy 51, towards Bruneau.  Cross the Snake River and take the first left after the bridge (Hwy 78).  Follow the signs to the park Equestrian Parking  area.

Map & Directions

Trail Conditions:  Mostly sand, some rocks on loop that goes on top.  Horse shoes not required.  The loop takes 2-3 hours.

Food:  The ride sponsors will provide chili for club members - there will be a $2 fee for nonmembers.  Please bring a dessert to share along with your own beverage and a lawn chair.

Cost:  There is a $4 fee to enter the park.

Water:  Not sure about horse or human water.  Might want to come prepared.
